Product Manager, Controls Solutions

Position Summary

We are hiring a rockstar Product Manager for Controls Solutions! Directly responsible for adding new products and maintaining the existing controls portfolio, he or she will develop strategic short-term and long-term goals for controls product optimization. Working together with manufacturing, engineering, marketing, supply chain, sales, and customer service, this role will collaborate across departments to deliver in-fixture controls and LED technology enhancements.

Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm

Position Responsibilities
  • Be a controls solutions expert with respect to the competition
  • Be an expert in LED technology enhancements such as color tuning, circadian lighting, dim to warm, and UV disinfection
  • Conduct extensive market research via agents, specifiers & end-users
  • Articulate market requirements & opportunities for controls products
  • Understand market position, competitive landscape & macroeconomic industry trends
  • Participate in product road maps & strategic planning
  • Recommend leading-edge controls solutions
  • Maintain a pulse on controls market trends & controls relevance
  • Define & execute controls solutions pricing strategies
  • Attend industry tradeshows, agency showcases, etc.
  • Assist with the core positioning & messaging for the solution
  • Develop pricing strategies to meet revenue & profitability goals
  • Perform product demos to visitors, admin & outside sales
  • Manage controls-related support, feedback & inquiries from users
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering
  • Product management or related experience in controls
  • 2 years experience in loT, electronics, controls, or related industry
  • Office out of headquarters in Carthage, Missouri or Kansas City office
